Tricia Pethic has a BA in History, an MA in Near Eastern Studies and an MA in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations. Before going on to found Muslim Prisoner Project, she served as service provider at Danbury Federal Correctional Facility (where the star of Orange is the New Black was incarcerated), as well as serving as Muslim Chaplain at Albion Correctional Facility in Albion, NY. She lives in Rochester, NY with her husband and two sons.
